My Philosophy

What is healing?
My belief is that individuals heal themselves and the body is always in the process of healing. Due to the day to day stresses and occasional traumas a body can become overwhelmed and out of balance. In those instances a person can be assisted in their own self healing with medicine. Sometimes that's western medicine and more often than not more natural approaches found with body work, acupuncture, supplements, herbs, homeopathy and improved health habits will make the progress toward a life in balance more effective and efficient.

What is disease?
When the body is in an imbalanced state it expresses itself with symptoms. Symptoms are the body's language that can guide a health care provider in responding to each person in an individual way. No two people are alike. There is a divine intelligence in every body to be whole and healthy in mind, body and spirit. This concept allows for personally tailored health care which every unique person can come to expect from a health care provider.

What is Health Maintenance?
Health Maintenance involves Education and Information. Daily health habits constitute health maintenance and physical exams, health histories and testing give the health care provider vital information as to how well an individual is doing to optimize their own health. Education in life style choices and information about individual risk factors becomes the platform a health care provider can use to best advise you on your choices.
